Window Boxes
A window box has a die-cut opening covered with clear PET film (polyethylene terephthalate, typically 200-250 microns thick) that lets customers inspect the product without opening the package. Bakeries use them because shoppers want to see the cake before buying. Cosmetics brands use them for shade matching. Confectionery companies use them because visible candy drives impulse purchases. The window can sit on the front, top, side, or span multiple panels depending on shelf orientation. Food-grade PET windows are FDA-compliant for direct food contact. The PET film is heat-bonded to the inside of the carton during production, so no adhesive residue touches the product. Available in SBS paperboard, kraft, and white cardboard. Cubit produces custom window boxes starting at 100 units with free dieline templates.
