Gable Box Auto Bottom
A gable box auto bottom adds a pre-glued pop-open base to the classic peaked-roof carry-handle gable shape. Standard gable boxes require manual bottom folding, which slows assembly to about 5-8 units per minute. Adding the auto bottom bumps that to 15-20 per minute because the packer only has to push the carton open, load the product, and fold the gable top shut. The pre-glued base also handles heavier loads than a manually folded bottom, which matters for bakeries packing dense items like layer cakes and pastry assortments. The integrated carry handle formed by the interlocking gable panels eliminates the need for a shopping bag. Food-grade versions include grease-resistant liners for direct contact with baked goods. Produced in SBS, kraft, and food-grade cardboard at Cubit, starting at 100 units.
