Foot Lock Tray
A foot lock tray is a shallow container with bottom tabs that fold inward and lock under the tray floor, creating a rigid base without glue. The "foot" tabs extend from the bottom edge of each wall panel, fold 90 degrees inward, and interlock flat against the tray floor. This locking mechanism provides better base rigidity than a simple fold-over bottom while keeping assembly fast and tool-free. Food service operations use foot lock trays for sandwich platters, sushi arrangements, pastry displays, and catering trays. Retail applications include produce trays, cosmetics counter displays, and point-of-sale merchandise holders. Tray walls typically stand 1.5 to 3 inches tall. Materials include food-grade SBS, kraft, and corrugated E-flute. The foot lock base distributes weight more evenly than corner-fold trays, reducing the risk of center sag under heavy product loads. Cubit produces custom foot lock trays from 100 units.
