Figures and Pattern
A figures and pattern box is a custom die-cut carton shaped into a non-standard form like an animal, vehicle, building, house, or any recognizable object. The shape itself becomes the packaging, so the product inside does not need a separate brand identity. Toy companies use figure-shaped boxes to make the packaging part of the play experience. Confectionery brands cut boxes into holiday shapes (Christmas trees, Easter eggs, hearts) to create seasonal limited-edition packaging. Event companies use custom-shaped boxes for party favors and corporate gifts. Each design requires a unique die-cut template, which means higher tooling costs than standard rectangular cartons. Construction uses 300-450gsm SBS or white cardboard for sharp fold lines and detailed shapes. The complexity of the die cut determines the minimum order quantity and lead time. Cubit produces custom figures and pattern boxes starting at 250 units.
