Fence Partition
A fence partition is a die-cut cardboard insert that divides the interior of a box into individual cells. The partition walls interlock at right angles through slotted cuts, creating a grid pattern that keeps products separated and prevents contact damage during shipping. Wine bottles, glass jars, cosmetics tubes, and electronics components all benefit from fence partitions because the rigid cell walls absorb lateral shock that would otherwise cause products to collide. Standard cell configurations include 2x2, 2x3, 3x3, 3x4, and 4x4 grids, but custom layouts can accommodate any arrangement. Partition height matches the product height or the inner box depth, whichever protects the contents more effectively. Materials include corrugated E-flute for lighter items and B-flute or single-face corrugated for heavier products. No adhesive is needed since the interlocking slots hold the grid rigid. Cubit produces custom fence partitions from 100 units.
