Bowl Sleeve
A bowl sleeve is a paperboard wrap that fits around a bowl-shaped container like a belt. It holds the bowl securely during transport and provides a flat, printable surface for branding that the curved bowl surface cannot offer. Food service operations use bowl sleeves for poke bowls, açaí bowls, salad containers, and soup cups. The sleeve slides on and off without adhesive, so customers remove it easily before eating. Most bowl sleeves use 250-350gsm SBS or kraft cardboard, thin enough to wrap without cracking at the curve but thick enough to hold its shape and accept high-resolution printing. The sleeve dimensions are custom-matched to the specific bowl diameter, with a typical circumference cut of 10 to 16 inches. Food-grade coatings are available for direct contact applications. Bowl sleeves ship flat in stacks and take under 2 seconds to apply. Cubit produces custom bowl sleeves from 250 units.
