Bottom Closure
A bottom closure box has a closure mechanism on the bottom panel instead of the top. The product loads from the top into an open carton, then the bottom flaps fold and lock to seal the package from below. This is the opposite of most retail cartons where the bottom is assembled first and the product loads through the top. Bottom closure boxes are used when the product needs to be positioned precisely inside the box before sealing, like a fragile ceramic vase placed upside-down into the carton, or a multi-piece gift set arranged in a tray insert before the outer carton wraps around it and closes underneath. The bottom closure can use tuck flaps, snap-lock tabs, or auto-lock mechanisms depending on speed and security requirements. Materials include 300-450gsm SBS and white cardboard. Cubit produces custom bottom closure boxes from 100 units with free dieline assistance.
