Dispenser Boxes
A dispenser box has a perforated or die-cut opening that lets people pull out one item at a time without opening the whole package. Tissue boxes work this way, and so do tea sachet cartons, wet wipe packs, business card holders, and individually wrapped snack boxes. The perforation is the engineering challenge: it needs to tear cleanly on first pull but hold together during shipping and stacking. Perforations are created during die-cutting using precision blades, with the cut-to-tie ratio controlling how easily the panel separates. Gravity-fed designs angle the contents toward the opening so products slide forward as stock depletes. Standard construction is 18pt SBS for lightweight packets or 24pt SBS for heavier loads. The dispensing panel doubles as retail display space since the opening is usually on the front face. Cubit produces custom dispenser boxes from 100 units.
